Meet the Speakers
Paraskevi “Eva” Batsikas is an attorney at Litchfield Malone McDonald in the California Bay Area. Her practice focuses on complex disputes involving design professionals, with experience spanning all phases of litigation in state and federal court. Eva’s practice includes a focus on employment litigation and counseling employers on a broad range of workplace issues, including wage and hour compliance, discrimination, retaliation, and mitigating litigation risks. Eva’s prior experience in plaintiff’s employment and class action litigation provides a unique perspective to her defense practice.
Zach is an expert in risk management and insurance for A&E firms and serves as the Managing Principal and CEO at Black Swan Insurance Services. He works with design professionals to simplify professional liability and help proactively manage unpredictable risks. He also regularly presents on risk management topics for universities and professional organizations across the country.
